“The sorcery and charm of imagination, and the power it gives to the individual to transform his world into a new world of order and delight, makes it one of the most treasured of all human capacities.” ~ Frank Barron

- Don’t write on lined paper. Seriously. Stop making lists.
- Jot down your ideas on blank paper. Make bubbles. Draw bad pictures and let the ideas pop onto the page randomly.
- Use BIG paper and colored markers to stimulate various parts of the brain and bring yourself out of logical or vertical thinking. Sounds silly, but what if this is the way to grabbing that millionaire idea?
- Use a tape recorder and record yourself speaking ideas randomly and let them flow. Take notes later. Toss around the ideas.
- Gather with “like minded” people to create as many ideas and viewpoints as possible. Create a dream-team of zigzag thinkers.
- Don’t think at your desk or at your office. Go outside to think. Take your pad of paper and write down your ideas near the ocean, on a bench, or in the woods. Grand ideas come from grand locations.
you're such a bad ass! thanks for the tips! i loved the 'not writing on lined paper' part.

yeah, what jdawd said - you're SUCH A BAD ASS! tho if i gathered with "like-minded" people we might not accomplish anything, lol, with all our brilliant, ADD-addled brains flying all over the place (we'd probably need you to come in and coach us to some point of organization)...
and i had no idea sid was an LMT! that's friggin' AWESOME! i second that, Sid is a supercool person - i could imagine he gives a fantastic massage, for sure.
